Foil stamping produces a shiny print that will not flake or rub off. Apex Goldstamping Co can foil stamp in metallic gold and silver, white, black, red, blue, green and range of other matt & metallic colours as well as laser & defraction foils.

Embossing is where the image is pushed up from behind and stands proud above the paper or card. Debossing is where the image is pushed down into the paper or card to sit below the surface of the sheet.

Deadlines and turnaround

Turnaround is usually 5 working days but for super urgent jobs, give us a call and we will endeavour to meet your timeline.

We recognise that you may not be as familiar with foil stamping and embossing as we are. We provide comprehensive pre-production advice on layout and design to get you the best price and achieve the best result. Don’t be put off providing this service because you think it may be too difficult. We can make it hassle-free.

Talking Technical

On our Heidelberg Plattens we can take a minimum sheet size of A5 and a maximum working sheet size of 500mm x 330mm. The maximum foil and emboss area on these machines is 400mm x 300mm.

We have other hand-fed equipment that can take small and large sheets of any dimension and which can foil or emboss an area up to 300mm x 250mm.

We are happy to do short or long runs.

Most business cards are done 4up on an A5 sheet but this can be varied to suit your requirements. We will provide a layout diagram with your quote.

Our Plattens have a fixed grip & lay. Please contact us for details before you print.

We require an additional 10% of stock for make ready/set up.

Artwork

We accept art in Illustrator or in pdf format (ai, eps & pdf files. We require a separate artwork file for each run of foiling and embossing. Artwork should be in BLACK at 100% with no tones or shades or stiple.
